Do you have music well-suited for placement in TV, film, video games, and ads? Our partners over at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) are now taking entries for their Screen Shot promotion! Only a few days left – deadline is December 13th!
Winners of the Screen Shot promotion will be connected directly with high-profile music licensing professionals looking to place music in upcoming projects. But what exactly do the prizes look like, you ask?
- One overall Screen Shot winner will be selected by ISC and provided the opportunity to be mentored directly by a group of high-profile music supervisors who specialize in music placement. Additionally, the winner will be awarded a music promotion campaign from Play MPE!
- Ten Screen Shot finalists will have their songs made available to over 1,000 industry licensing contacts who are looking for music for upcoming projects.
In past years, Screen Shot winners have secured licensing and publishing deals through the connections they made by entering this promotional round. (So get crackin’!)
And finally, all songs entered into the special promotion are also included in the ISC 2021 overall competition, which awards over $225,000 in cash and prizes! Beyond that, entrants have the opportunity to be heard by celebrity artists like Coldplay, Tom Waits, Bebe Rexha, Linkin Park, The Lumineers, Christian Scott, and industry execs from Capitol, Roc Nation, Sony, Glassnote, Atlantic, Warner, and more.
